Hannah Quinlivan is continuously evolving and dissecting the elements of drawing to investigate the confines of line and form through materials such as painting, wire, salt and LED lighting. Her practice grapples with contemporary issues such as human migration, traditional explorations of landscape and remoteness, currents of societal emotions and the fleeting nature of time. In ‘Nocturne’, Quinlivan presents a new series of ‘spatial drawings’ bringing together wire and LED installations, and performance to reflect on the personal and shared events and experiences of 2020.
