To Sept 27 Beautiful Tensions is a celebration of Gray Street Workshop’s 40th anniversary. Artists include Jess Dare, Lisa Furno, Sue Lorraine, and Catherine Truman. Presented by JamFactory, this major touring exhibition articulates the group’s shared commitment to the value of making, and the power of objects to transmit meaning. The way their shared themes are disparately articulated is a cogent expression of how the group works, in their own words, “separately together.”
Beautiful Tensions: Gray Street Workshop celebrates forty years / Installation view
July 4 to Sept 27 Fantastic Forms captures the energy, movement, and colour in the expansive creative practice of Merric Boyd (1888–1959). Featuring over 200 drawings and ceramics by Boyd from the Bundanon Collection, it sits in dialogue with contemporary works by Rubyrose Bancroft, Stephen Benwell, and Nabilah Nordin. Fantastic Forms celebrates the endless creativity of the human imagination. This is a Bundanon touring exhibition.

June 1 to Dec 6 Between the Details: Video Art from the ACMI Collection featuring artists Kaylene Whiskey, Jason Phu, Deborah Kelly, Zanny Begg, David Rosetzky, and Christian Thompson. The exhibition showcases up to six moving image artworks by each Australian artist, celebrating ACMI’s vibrant collecting and commissioning program. The works all demonstrate an irrepressible desire to bring deep themes to the surface with humour and incredible attention to detail. An ACMI touring exhibition.
