Ann Greenwood: The Peacock Garden

Ann Greenwood is a Gippsland-based textile artist whose creative practice spans five decades. She is renowned for her monumental weavings and exquisite embroideries rich in colour, texture and meaning. For her latest exhibition ‘The Peacock Garden’, Greenwood draws from three bodies of work to present a celebration of life in its material and symbolic incarnations, which she says ‘evokes ideas of connecting, binding, and continuity.’

The exhibition opens up a space for spiritual exploration of the seeing, dreaming, and imaginative self.
