Ulan Murray and Rachel Burns from Bega on the South Coast of New South Wales present ‘Terrestrial’, an exhibition of collaborative sculptural works, which capture the beauty and elegance of some of Australia’s most iconic trees. Leafy crowns, outward reaching branches and trunks with elaborate root systems are intricately illustrated by the duo with materials including bronze, wire and steel. This body of work evokes a strong sense of place and awakens memories of the past.
