Art Educators of the NT (AENT) and Darwin Visual Arts Association (DVAA) are holding their third exhibition of AENT members from across the Top End of the Northern Territory. A vibrant collection of works including drawings, paintings, sculpture and jewellery will be showcased in ‘Out of the Art Room’ from 18 August to 2 September with the official opening on 25 August at 6.30pm. The AENT facilitates networking opportunities and professional development for visual arts educators. This project assists the AENT in promoting the value of education through art. Presented as part of the 2017 Darwin Festival program from 10 to 27 August.
DVAA artist-run space supports emerging and established artists, curators and arts writers, supported by the Northern Territory Government and the Visual Arts and Craft Strategy.
