Bill Culbert

Acclaimed New Zealand-born artist Bill Culbert brings his distinctive fluorescent light works to Australian shores as part of the Sydney Festival. Curated by Judith Blackall, the exhibition follows the standout success of Culbert’s installations at the 55th Venice Biennale of Art and marks his largest solo project in Australia to date.

Hosted by the National Art School, the exhibition presents a significant collection of the artist’s installation and photography from the past 35 years, including the more recent Pacific Flotsam on loan from Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetu.
