Christian Bumbarra Thompson is a contemporary artist, whose work explores issues of race, identity and society. His commentary continues to challenge and excite as he raises issues often left untouched.
In much of Thompson’s work his processes are intuitive, delving into a rich dream world to draw out his ethereal images. He manifests his own mythological world, with the resulting works both beautiful and confronting.
Thompson has presented his photographs, video and performance work in numerous solo and group exhibitions, both nationally and internationally.
