Continental Shift: Contemporary Art and South Asia

Fourteen contemporary Australian and international artists who share a connection to South Asia, either by birth, having descended from, or with ongoing ties to the region come together for ‘Continental Shift’. The exhibition presents a range of creative responses across varied disciplines, which question the experience of displacement, multi-racial identity, family, place and politics underpinned by the diverse and complex social and cultural issues inherent within these borders. Artists include TextaQueen, Khadim Ali and Kate Beynon, to name a few.
