‘Echo Chambers’ features photographic and sculptural artworks with a focus on shadow, reflection, duplicates, doubles and doppelgangers, by artists whose practice involves mirrors, mirrored surfaces and reflections. The exhibition presents the ideal setting for self-reflexivity (and perhaps a ‘selfie’) inviting viewers to see themselves in refraction and spatial encounters.
Artists include Yanni Florence, Dale Frank, Justine Khamara, Kent Morris, Nike Savvas and Meng-Yu Yan, among others. Also showing at Deakin University Burwood Library Gallery Space and Deakin Downtown Gallery.
