Step into the world of New York fashion designer Chester Weinberg (1930–1985) and discover what he was known for and why he was forgotten from fashion history for nearly forty years.
Co-curated by David Roche Gallery and Skye Bartlett, team manager at SAMESH, this world-first exhibition presents more than sixty garments designed by Weinberg during the height of his career from the 1950s to the 1980s, such as his pocket dresses, alongside pieces by his Parisian contemporaries and influences including Cristóbal Balenciaga, Christian Dior, and Pierre Cardin.
