Vika Fifita, a proud Tasmanian artist currently based out of Brisbane, describes her bright painting style as “Neo-expressive Pop,” which acts as diary entries to her daily life: “The documentation of my everyday life will always be a major subject in the production of my work. I can’t paint without having experienced the subject matter. My works are memories and pieces of myself.”
For Memories and Marks, Fifita presents a collection of new paintings that celebrate life’s richness, the importance of memory and personal transformation through motherhood.
