‘Groundswell’ brings the curatorial vision of Darwin-based writer, activist and SPARK NT curator Carmen Ansaldo, to the surface. ‘When a problem emerges, so too does a unique opportunity to observe, to take stock, to reinvent,’ she says. With concern for the Northern Territory’s disappearing water supply, Ansaldo brings 20 Territory artists together in this exhibition of moving image, visualised data, painting, printmaking, ceramics and sculptural works addressing the urgent need to preserve the precious waterways of the region.
