After a two-year hiatus, the Hornsby Art Prize resumes in full strength with one hundred unique artworks sourced nationally across five categories: Painting, Drawing, Printmaking, 3D Works, and Digital Art – Stills.
Through various contemporary styles, artists comment on current issues, the plague of Covid, war, bushfires, and floods. There are also modern takes on perennial themes like nature, social identity, and belonging. Intelligent, passionate, elegant, humorous; these works capture the attention of those who appreciate refined expressions of human imaginings. Ten artists will be rewarded with prizes totalling $23,000.
