This photographic and film-based exhibition documents the lives of displaced individuals and communities from across the world whose complex circumstances have been relegated to the ‘too-hard basket’ by media consumers unaffected by the harsh impact of inequality. Works from Australia, Bangladesh, China, France, Greece, Jordan, Mexico, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea, South Africa and the United States expose the stark realities for disadvantaged peoples who are often overlooked in depictions of 21st century societies.
