Jerrinja Balaang presents cultural photographs from a group of Jerrinja Indigenous female photographic artists: Crissy Locke, Talesha Farrell, Alicia Wellington, Shelly Wellington, Rebecca Williams, Tanaya Williams, and Tarryn Brown-Williams. These images illustrate aspects of balaang (women’s) life, traditional Aboriginal language, and cultural connections to their own Jerrinja Wandi Wandian Country. Elders and Aunties from the Jerrinja Local Aboriginal Land Council and community guided the artists throughout the journey. Creative photography, editing, and curation were advised by artist Tamara Dean and producer Alex McNeilly from Southland Creative Inc.
