‘Hangover’ is a whole-space installation that employs the dynamic form of a readymade tent. Using ropes and fittings to open its canvas panelling into planar forms, it engages with the formal concerns of sculpture and painting as well as with the physical structure of Articulate project space. It is the first project in Articulate’s Changing Place program, which aims to show artworks contributing to the revaluation of place through their acknowledgement of the settings in which they are located.
