An exciting new installation by Melbourne-based artist, Jon Campbell, encourages people of all ages to contribute to, and play with, contemporary art and music. Drawing inspiration from suburban life, everyday language and rock ‘n’ roll, Campbell takes motifs from Australian culture and represents them in a colourful, pop art style.
The three-part installation of music and visual art will feature karaoke booths to sing along to a song by Campbell, as well as a wall full of large magnets to make your own backyard. Visitors will also be encouraged to imagine their own special word and illustrate it on a flag which can be taken home or left to form part of a larger installation of flags.
