Kaldor Public Art Project 38 – Thomas Demand: The Object Lesson

German artist Thomas Demand was invited by John Kaldor to create the exhibition space for the 38th Kaldor Public Art Project – the pair first collaborating in 2012 for the 25th Kaldor Public Art Project, presented at the Commercial Travellers’ Association in Sydney’s Martin Place.

Known for his photographs, Demand has become deeply interested in architecture and exhibition design, The Object Lesson displaying John Kaldor Family Collection works in a new light. Artists include Francis Alÿs, Christo, Aleks Danko, Gilbert & George, Andreas Gursky, Sol LeWitt, Robert Rauschenberg, Ugo Rondinone, and Saskia Olde Wolbers.
