With a number of international participants in this year’s Melbourne Festival on from 4 to 22 October, a group of Australian artists are also set to make an impact across the city’s galleries, institutions and public spaces. Highlights include ‘An Unorthodox Flow of Images’ at the Centre for Contemporary Photography exploring visual culture in our era of ‘tumbling’ and often disturbing images with work from Walker Evans, Brook Andrew, Tracey Moffatt, Patrick Pound, William Yang, Max Dupain and Vita Sackville West.
