Curated by Caitlin Eyre, ‘Modern Mysticism’ features the work of six contemporary jewellers and ceramic artists, whose practices explore and are inspired by the imagery and ritual materiality of idols, icons, myths, legends, symbols and religious traditions – from talismanic jewellery drawing on the occult and the referencing of classical mythology and ‘ritual tears’, to the connecting of two cultures via porcelain sculptures adhered with Blu-Tack. Featuring Peta Armstrong, Juan Castro, Emma Homfrey, Vikki Kassioras, Tara Lofhelm and Vipoo Srivilasa.
