Oxford Street’s new creative spaces

If you’ve wandered down Oxford Street recently you may have noticed a few new creative spaces popping up. The City of Sydney has recently launched an initiative to transform vacant shop-fronts in the Darlinghurst area into thriving art spaces, to create a more vibrant, dynamic and diverse cultural quarter.

16 tenants were selected to inhabit the spaces including a variety of creative endeavors with both non-profit and commercial agendas, including object design, web design, architecture, new media, film, visual arts, performance, music, start-up businesses, social enterprise, literature, animation and more.
