“At the core of ‘Proof of Life’ is a provocation: the world is on a path to environmental, political, economic and social disaster”, however curators Elizabeth Wood and Kevin Leong, as part of the Homesickness Project also assert that there is a possibility of a bright future. In March, Tasmanian artists were asked to ponder what makes one feel dislocated and also the elements that domestically, socially or spiritually create a sense of being “at home”.
