‘The Lonely Planet’ is an exhibition of new works by Tasmanian-based artist Robyn McKinnon who creates painted compositions embracing the seemingly mundane. Narratives of places and times encounter unknown emanations to be realised through visual interpretations. A passion for what is yet to be discovered evokes a sense of wonder and curiosity at the enigma that is life. With no boundaries set, the work evolves as each day begins – on an open-ended plane.
