Self-Dissection

Alannah Dair, Annie O’Rourke, Vicky Satchwell and Natalie Wood work across a range of media to navigate the ambiguous space they feel women occupy. This exhibition considers women in unfamiliar and familiar roles, as the gallery imparts from a ‘rage-driven destructive force’ to ‘victim of the frailties of the female body’ as well as the contrasting positions of the casual feminist and women embracing domestic routine.
