A collection of paintings and sculptures from 1973–2023 celebrating the vibrant life of Sonny Dalimore, whose artmaking was an active process of participation, exploring colour, line, and form.
“For Sonny, art was not about recreating reality; it was about creating illusion regarding his chosen subject matter,” says daughter Claudia Sangiorgi Dalimore. “With his profound affinity with nature, his archive shows the vast reach of his skill and a unique approach to art developed as an instinctive action. ‘If it feels right, it will always look right,’ was his motto.”
