Rex-Livingston Art + Objects presents ‘#homosapiens’ by Steve Starr from 15 May to 1 June 2020. The exhibition pursues an interrogation of the human body as a ‘site’ of intimacy. Starr’s works revisit the Sexual Revolution of the 1970s, 80s and 90s that critiqued gender roles, gender politics and gender stereotyping.
‘Shelter in Place’ examines the relationship between human beings and architecture with a focus on the ways in which our built environment is used to foster ideas of home, shelter and belonging.
