Women in Vogue: Celebrating 60 years in Australia

As the country’s authoritative voice on fashion and beauty, Vogue Australia has entertained and inspired its readers for 60 years. ‘Women in Vogue’ celebrates this milestone as well as the role the magazine has played in the lives of Australian women since its first publication in 1959 to today; drawing from its archives rare covers, as well as contemporary portraits of iconic women featured in their pages. These photographs reveal the shifts in culture and identity over two generations; ever changing and redefining Australian womanhood.
