Through a collection of intimate sculptural portraits, the artists of Hands On Studio – an inclusive art studio and creative program in Canberra supporting artists with disabilities – invite audiences to consider the many forms admiration can take.
Revealing that heroes exist in communities and homes as well as on screens and sporting fields, the works – from a diverse community of creatives aged nineteen to eighty-six – span a range of artistic approaches and materials, each artist drawing on their own lived experiences.
