As Long as the Night is Dark

This exhibition features works across an array of mediums that linger between the melancholy of the past and the anxiety of the future. Through playful nihilism and prophetic vision, ten Australian contemporary artists celebrate the hilarity of humanity’s existential fate – tapping into the subconscious, deconstructing identity, and exploring the ‘dark night of the soul’. Describing the atmosphere of the exhibition, artist Simon Pericich says, “Take comfort in hopelessness cos we are all in this beautiful mess together.”
