Presented across two exhibition spaces ‘Regimes of Value’ is a collection of ephemera and detritus: materials considered unviable, residual and cast-off, and their re-purpose as a contemporary art strategy. The resulting works have been viewed as disruptive, transgressive, narratives of socio-political dissent, and vehicles of parody and the deployment of kitsch, within the rhetoric of sustainability.
A large number of participating artists, which include: Sean Cordeiro & Claire Healy, Elizabeth Gower, Lou Hubbard, Ash Keating, Nicholas Mangan, Rowan McNaught, John Nixon, Louise Paramor, Simon Pericich, Elvis Richardson, Slow Art Collective, Kate Smith, and others.
