Featuring over forty works by twenty-six artists, this exhibition of highlights from Sydney’s White Rabbit Gallery – founded in 2009 by philanthropist Judith Neilson – spans painting, photography, video, light-based installations, and monumental sculpture. Here, the energetic spirit of twenty-first-century China is captured through bold, experimental works produced over the last twenty-five years – works on show that interrogate authority, reclaim history, and reflect profound social change.
Artists include: Geng Xue, Guo Jian, LuYang, Peng Hung-Chih, Xu Zhen, Zhang Dali, and Zhang Peili.
