Anna Glynn: Promiscuous Provenance

Inspired by history, science, nature, ecology and the environment Australian contemporary multi-media artist Anna Glynn produces poetic narrations, which reflect on the human connection with nature, place and the animal world. In ‘Promiscuous Provenance’, Glynn examines the peculiarities of early colonial artists’ first encounters with the Australian Landscape. A series of 30+ watercolour and ink works, 3D printed sculptures, sound work and installation pieces bring Glynn’s own antipodean worlds of strange and whimsical hybrid manifestations into view.
