The fourth and final iteration of Artstate will be held in Wagga Wagga from 5 to 8 November, showcasing the rich and diverse cultural identity of regional New South Wales. The program celebrates the artistic practice of locals, including the Wiradjuri people, individual artists and cultural organisations, and their voice in shaping the future for regional Australia. Commencing with an opening ceremony, which will take place in, around, and on the Wollundary Lagoon, the program features a two-day speaker’s conference, visual art exhibitions, musical and theatrical performances, public installations, showcases of traditional Wiradjuri practices, and more. The arts program is free and open for the community, however numbers will be limited and social distancing measures in place.
