After years of painting an urban landscape, Frost has now cast his focus on painting his immediate surroundings – the small coastal town of Thirroul. Frost embraces the organic forms of the natural landscape as opposed to a more figurative construction of the urban cityscape.
Frost balances his seductive palette and traditional compositions, with lashings of think paint, skilfully transforming a recognisable landscape into a blurred mass of plastic abstraction.
