Leading and emerging textile artists from Bábbarra Designs, a contemporary textile art centre in the community of Maningrida, Arnhem Land, showcase a vibrant exhibition of silk-screened fabrics, composed, printed and sewn at Bábbarra Women’s Centre. The women, from different language groups across the region share their Ancestral knowledge and personal stories of country and culture through each unique piece.
Artists include: Susan Marawarr, Helen Lanyinwanga, Belinda Kuriniya, Jennifer Wurrkidj, Deborah Wurrkidj, Lennie Goya-Airra, Raylene Bonson, Belinda Kernan and Lucy Yarawanga.
