Amalgamating a Surrealist’s attraction to strange beauty and the graphic line of a draftsman, Bundit Puangthong’s works are underpinned by classical technique and incongruous images of street culture. Utilising religious iconography, corporate advertising and puppet theatre backdrops, Puangthong considers the dualities of East and West, highbrow and popular culture, and past and present. An online catalogue of the exhibition will be available on the gallery’s website.
