In Her Own Time presents a collection of paintings and newly acquired works on paper and canvas by Elisabeth Cummings. Recently gifted to the BAMM collection, this series of works, spanning half a century of a distinguished career, celebrates the artist’s bold use of colour, dynamic mark-making, and deep connection to the landscape, particularly the Australian bush – painting smaller en plein air works, as well as larger pieces back in the studio.
In Her Own Time offers an intimate insight into both Cummings artistic evolution and her personal journey.
