Geelong Gallery and Australian Design Centre present this major new national award exhibition celebrating the wealth and diversity of creative talent in Australian craft and design. Working across a range of disciplines such as ceramics, glass, furniture/woodwork, metalwork, jewellery, textiles and fibre, designer/makers were encouraged to work with new or traditional materials in a fresh and innovative way.
The thirty finalists selected are among the most dynamic designer/makers today, including the inaugural winner Vipoo Srivilasa, who creates playful ceramics that blend European historical figurines with Asian decorative art.
