Gippsland Art Gallery presents a new biennial exhibition series titled Fragile Earth that will investigate the complexities of our changing climate and its effects on life on Earth.
Across a range of approaches, including painting, sculpture, printmaking, video art, installation, and performance, the inaugural exhibition titled Extinction brings together a cohort of artists who respond to the rapid loss of species, habitats, and ecosystems, and The Fragile Earth Symposium: Extinction in Conversation on 30 and 31 July will host a panel of leading thinkers on climate change.
