A group exhibition filtering the classical concept of ‘genius loci’ – the protective spirit of a place, through the thematic prism of the Australian landscape. Artists employ the medium of glass to explore physical and abstracted environments and the complexity of the natural world. From cultural and spiritual connections to place, environmental issues and the evolution of rural and urban landscapes, the presentation traverses a variety of topics to challenge the viewer’s perception of what a landscape is, and can be.
