Abstract figurative painter, printmaker and sculptor Graham Fransella utilises a language of symbols, strong lines and dense colour to construct his ambiguous and suggestive works.
Fransella uses the flexible icon of the curve to suggest both the landscape representation of the river and the figurative representation of the head, allowing broad and subjective interpretations from the viewer.
