‘Merely Stand Up In The Crowd’ is the first solo show in Australia for self-trained artist Habib Farajabadi. Farajabadi’s study of abstraction approaches painting with a sense of fluidity, dancing between the frame; the confluence of paint and canvas smeared, slathered, swiped and spattered with a sophisticated marriage of precision and impulse.
