Helen Britton: The Story So Far

Marking the tenth artist in the ‘Living Treasures: Masters of Australian Craft’ series, The Story So Far traces the complex and rich world of country women and the creativity that shaped the artist’s early experience of Australia.

Travelling three times to Australia – between 2017 and 2019 – to document the house of her great aunt and godmother on the Clarence River, featured here are new works including drawings, installation, jewellery, objects, and painting alongside the first showing of photographic work My Godmother’s House.
