HOBIENNALE brings together a large group of ARI’s from across Australia and NZ

‘HOBIENNALE 2017’, a new festival celebrating art and responding to our current climate of uncertainty from around the Antipodes will make its debut in Hobart from 3 to 12 November. For the big kick-off, 100 emerging and mid-career artists will be presented in a constellation of 18 exhibitions assembled across venues around the port city, including local galleries, art collectives and institutions. The program will comprise a rich assortment of talks, music, and performance alongside public and gallery-based artworks in a range of media. Highlights include: ‘Northland and Intraference’ by The Curated Shelf and Radio 33 (TAS), ‘The Romantic Picturesque’ by PLAY_station (NZ), and ‘Talk Back’ by Visual Bulk (TAS).
