This diverse body of over 70 works includes prints, paintings, drawings, artist’s books and sculptures and reflects a cohesive whole. Hanrahan has lived for the past 45 years in the Southern Highlands of NSW. Her work is mainly concerned with the natural environment, social and emotive issues, texture and form. Hanrahan says, ‘Art, for me, has and is the creative energy that fulfils each day, and without it, I don’t feel complete.’
A monograph of selected works will accompany the exhibition.
