Keeping It Clean

Michael Muir’s landscape paintings rest somewhere between representation and abstraction. Applying the oil paint with a palette knife, Muir’s graphic paintings rely on subtle undulations of the paint to create movment and depth of flield. An evocation of his memories and experiences and those of his nearest and dearest, the works are large and vibrant explorations of daily life.
