Landscape

Four artists explore connection to place inspired by their experiences in the natural world and the vitality of the rural landscape. Simone Fraser captures moments of changing light and shifting seasons with objects steeped in vibrant colour and texture. Janetta Kerr-Grant’s porcelain vessels reflect on time spent in the forests of Finland. Gail Nichols showcases abstract hooked rugs, while Merran Esson presents works that she describes as ‘voluptuous forms that speak of passion and longing, but are pierced with signs of loss.’
