Using geometric forms and surface treatments to convey ideas around connectivity, relationship and space, Canberra-based artist Lucy Palmer and Sydney-based artist Debbey Watson bring their articulations in glass and clay together in this exhibition. Palmer utilises the unique qualities of kiln-formed glass to create an illusory sense of distance and depth depicting vast landscapes, expansive skies and quiet horizons, and Watson’s ceramic sculptures of slab-built geometric forms created with a colour palette of three unglazed clays highlight the simplicity and minimal aesthetic of each form.
