Artist Simone Piccioni works between Sydney, and Rome where he was born and raised. He is a painter and translator of his feelings through meticulous drawing, colour and glazing. He does not paint what he sees, but rather searches for the light to reveal the shadow and ultimately the truth within his articulations.
In this exhibition titled ‘Momenti di luce’, which translates to ‘moment of light’, Piccioni’s interior and still life compositions search for beauty in the ordinary, the old and the forgotten.
