Marian Drew: Fresh Conversations

Contemporary photographic artist, Marian Drew continues her exploration of still life with her latest exhibition, ‘Fresh Conversations’, that connects table arrangements with narratives of play and landscape. Rejecting the traditional scope of still life as one filled with allegories of wealth, power and mortality, Drew takes a more playful approach to the works, creating compositions that play with lightness and temporality, which instills the work with a playfulness and joie de vivre and celebration of life.
